The Rotunda
A 20-meter rotunda is a magnet for our visitors – the majestic pinnacle rising above the immaculately designed grounds of this stunning villa. Its distinctive dome is hand decorated with striking Florentine mosaics and adorned with classic columns. It creates a truly European feel and offers a sophisticated backdrop to your photos. The columns and balusters are loved by photographers as they create perfect lines, a game of light and shadows, helping them create breathtaking shots.
The courtyard
A few steps away from the magnificent Rotunda, there is a lovely courtyard with a main fountain, white pergolas and another feature fountain with hand-laid mosaics. This area is also popular as a truly romantic setting that instantly transfers you to the atmosphere of good old Italy!
The gardens
Lone Pine Estate prides itself in keeping the grounds immaculate all year round! Around every corner you will find beautifully landscaped grounds with multiple photogenic features any season – flowers, shaped bushes, native trees, Italian pines grove, terraced vineyard, climbing rose vines and much more!
The fortress
We even have a mediaeval fortress with two watchtowers – perfect for epic shots magically transporting you to old Europe. Towers and stairs are a perfect setting for photos with a unique classy taste. The towers offer a unique and timeless setting for photographs imbued with a sense of class and elegance, ensuring that every moment captured reflects the distinct charm of our venue.
The AMPHITHEATRE
Lone Pine Estate also features a state-of-the-art open-air amphitheatre – another reference to ancient Rome and Greece. Cascading terraces offer a luxurious perspective for your photos without the need to fly all the way to Italy.
The marble hall
A luxurious, one of a kind in New Zealand, marble hall lined with different kinds of marble setting off beautiful Rosa Verona marble. The hall ends with a grand fireplace, and when you look up, you will be instantly blinded by the immense beauty of the Murano crystal chandeliers creating whimsical reflections on marble walls and the floor. Multiple French doors and white draping create a perfect romantic atmosphere for your shots.
